Copper tubes

Our copper tube product range includes copper tubes in coils, straight copper tubes and copper tubes in coils with high-quality PVC coating in various sizes. These copper products have a wide application due to their mechanical, physical and chemical properties: high thermal conductivity, elasticity and resilience to pressure.

In partnership with the world-famous copper producer SARKUYSAN (www.sarkuysan.com) from Turkey, we place copper tubes on the market of Serbia and the region, which are recognizable by their top quality and produced according to applicable standards.

76,1 2

Note: In compliance with the EN1057 standard, we produce hard (R290) and semi-hard (R250) copper tubes.

FORM OF DELIVERY: The standard copper tube length we deliver in Serbia is 5 meters. Depending on clients’ requirements, we can deliver different sizes of copper tubes. Tubes are packed in foil-lined batches.

APPLICATION: Straight copper tubes are most frequently used for heating, gas and water supply installations, as well as in fire-prevention, ventilation and climatization systems.

Copper tubes in coil – PVC coating

Size (mm) Thickness (mm)
6 0,8 / 1
8 0,8 / 1
15 0,8 / 1
18 0,8 / 11
22 1

Note: Tube thickness given here does not take the thickness of PVC coating into account.

FORM OF DELIVERY: Soft copper tubes (R220) are our most frequently produced copper tubes. The tubes are delivered in coils.

APPLICATION: Copper tubes with PVC coating are most frequently used in heating and gas installations, as well as for directing fluid and air flow. These tubes are used in the car industry in natural gas kits, and also in floor and wall heating installations. We use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to plasticize our copper tubes. The insulation reduces heat loss, improves tube elasticity and enhances the tube rolling process.

General information

ADVANTAGES OF USING COPPER TUBES: Copper tubes have a wide application due to their mechanical, physical and chemical properties. Most important of these properties are high thermal conductivity, elasticity and resilience to pressure. Copper tubes are energy efficient and environmentally friendly products.

PRODUCT QUALITY: In compliance with the EN1057 standard, we use deoxidized copper (designation Cu-DHP) with a 99.9% guaranteed copper content for the production of our copper tubes. The primary raw material employed, in compliance with the EN1057 standard, is a billet of copper. All the raw materials that we use are in accordance with domestic and international standards (EN, ASTM, DIN, JUS…).

WEIGHT AND PRESSURE ESTIMATES: Weight and pressure exertion limits are estimated for each individual copper tube size, based on these unique formulas:

BOX 1

For weight: Q = (D-S) x S x TT x Y

D – outer tube diameter in mm

S – tube wall thickness in mm

Y – specific copper weight, 8.94 kg/dm3

TT – 3,14

BOX 2

For pressure: P = 200 Rm S/DN

200 – constant for conversion

Rm – tensile strength N/mm2

S – wall thickness, mm
